| Post Road Art Center is located at the corner of Boston Post Road East (Route 20) and Cook Lane in Marlborough. Coming from the West: Head East on Route 20, go past downtown Marlborough. When Rt 20 becomes 4 lanes, Papa Gino's, Dunkin Donuts and DCU Credit Union will be on your right and CVS on your left, you are so close! At that set of lights--Hosmer St-- go straight and take your 1st Right onto Cook Ln. Follow the signs into our parking lot behind the big Purple house. Coming From the East: If you are traveling east on Rt 20, Boston Post Road, we will be on your left. You will see Fire Fly's up on the hill at the sharp bend. Drive just past us, turn around (somewhere safe!) and then turn right onto Cook Ln to get into our parking lot. Coming from Boston: Take the Mass Pike to exit 12. After the tolls, bear left toward Marlborough, Southborough. The Ramp will send you onto Rt 9 heading west; you will want to get into the left lane. After the first set of lights take the second left exit onto Rt 30. Follow Rt 30, and when you pass between two bodies of water the road will curve to the right. Continue on Rt 30 and stay straight as it turns into Rt 85. When you come to Rt 20 take a Right. At the second set of lights, Rt 20 turns right and becomes 4 lanes. When you see Papa Gino's, Dunkin Donuts and DCU Credit Union on your right and CVS on your left, you are so close! The Show of Hearts is up! People have been bidding like crazy! We are over $800.00 in bids already and there are still many great deals to be had. We have 78 pieces for you to bid on to help us raise money for Breast Cancer Research. Preview the show online: we have 5 pages of images to browse through! Feel free to email me bids and I will post them as quickly as I can. However, seeing these in person is a MUST! Please mark your calendars for our closing bid party on February 11th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Enjoy some wine and cheese, mingle with artists and bid, bid, bid. Remember, all the money goes to breast cancer research. The pieces will be up in the gallery for auction all week if you can't make the party. Please stop in and check it all out. The Animal show is right around the corner. I have a new judge, Geoffrey Stocking, Lending Artist & Installation Coordinator, Corporate Program at the Decordova Museum. The drop-off dates are Feb. 19-25. Registration forms are on the web. Don't forget that we have some awesome frames discounted 40% and some white and black matboard discounted 20% to get your art framed up at unbeatable prices! We also have lots of readymades to choose from. I have put some coupons in this email: print them out and take advantage of some nice savings! Please check out our other upcoming events so that you can be creating art that will fit into our shows! We have the line-up of events for the rest of the year on our Events Page, or on our Yahoo Calendar, whichever you prefer.
