"Paradigm"
par·a·digm (păr'ə-dīm', -dĭm')
A set of assumptions, concepts,
values, and practices that constitute
a way of viewing reality for the
community that shares them,
especially in an intellectual discipline.
My show simply suggests a world to
escape the one we are in. Fantasy
and reality, man and beast, nature,
myth, distortion, anthropomorphism,
landscape...a suggestion and a
journey.

Bruce Collins is native to Massachusetts and a graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design. He has worked as a
freelance illustrator and muralist as well as providing art instruction for children and adults for the past twenty years.
Collins currently works for an international face and body painting company out of Universal Studios Hollywood. For the
past five years he has worked in theme parks all over the world using people as his canvas, now he is going back to his
roots and love of painting. Theatrical make up, theater, and costume have always influenced his work. His illustration
background and love of color are quite apparent in this collection. Collins currently works for Enjoy Your Face, Inc. and
resides in Los Angles California, with his partner.
