About the Class
This is a 3-week class meeting from 10:00am-12:00pm, 11/23, 12/7 and 12/14 (no class on November 30th!) and it is $40 per session, a total cost of $120. While signing up you will be prompted to select each week.
Learn the art of staying loose in your watercolor paintings. In this class you will be working on traditional watercolor paper and you will be learning how to paint on stretched canvas and or a cradled art board with the help of absorbent ground!
Supply list to bring to class:
Recommended Colors:
Permanent Rose, Cadmium Yellow Light, Cerulean Blue, Viridian, Dioxazine purple, Cadmium Orange (Three Primaries; Red, Yellow and Blue and the Secondaries, Green, Violet and Orange)
A couple of my other favorite colors are: Quinacridone Gold, Ultramarine, Scarlet Lake, Aureolin, Cobalt and Sap Green
BRUSHES Bring what you’ve got – try to include a couple of rounds and a ¾” flat at the least.
(2) Pieces 8 X 8” PAPER: Arches 140 lb. Cold Press and Yupo
(1) 8 X 8” CRADLED BOARD OR STRETCHED CANVAS
